Psychological Assessments are conducted by a Licensed Psychologist. Please request your PCP or provider fill out the referral form. Referrals should come for a provider.Psychological assessment and testing also often thought of as a mental health test typically begins with a clinical interview to clarify the “presenting issue” and to gather background information, such as: the family history; medical and psychiatric information; substance use; and education and employment information.
Psychological evaluation also commonly includes one or more educational and/or psychological mental health tests. The mental health tests may be computerized, activity-based, or paper & pencil tests. Several sessions may be required to complete a psychological evaluation.
