Interest in Participatory Approaches to Machine Learning
We'd like to get a sense for who is interested in attending the workshop, so that we can try to help organize breakout discussions around various topics which may be of interest, in addition to poster sessions and the panel.
In the spirit of participation, your input would be very helpful for designing the program around an emerging community's interests!
On which topics would you be interested in attending a breakout discussion?
Recourse and reachability
Richer interactive ML
Mechanism design or computational social choice and learning
Collective and participatory design applied to community involvement in ML
Deferral and/or abstention
Documentation & audit methods
Tools that support community and worker organization
Would you be interested in leading or co-leading a breakout discussion on any of the above?
You can propose a concrete format and sub-topic of the session. Leading a session wouldn't involve making slides or a presentation, just guiding a discussion.
Any other comments to the organizers
