Burlington Green Infrastructure Bike Tour
Thursday, August 4, 12:00-1:00 PM. We will depart promptly at NOON from the starting location. Meeting location information will be emailed to all who RSVP by August 2.

This bike tour will be led by Lake Champlain Sea Grant (LCSG) staff person, Becky Tharp, the Green Infrastructure Collaborative Manager for LCSG and Vermont DEC. This tour will unveil a new green infrastructure bike tour route through the City of Burlington. Route maps that include green infrastructure site descriptions will be available to the public via the LCSG website following the event. We will bike along a portion of the available route.

Green infrastructure includes rain gardens, pervious pavement, green roofs, and other man made structures that mimic the natural environment and help minimize stormwater runoff to local waterways.

Sponsored by Lake Champlain Sea Grant, VT DEC and UVM Extension.
