The United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) will organize a mentoring session focused on the application process and guidelines for the 2027–2028 Fulbright-Nehru Fellowships. As part of the session, a Fulbright-Nehru alumna/alumnus will share insights into their application journey, research experience, and cultural engagement in the United States, highlighting the fellowship’s impact on their academic and professional development.


Participants: This workshop is intended for PhD scholars, researchers, faculty members, and professionals seeking short-term research or teaching opportunities in the United States in eligible disciplines.

The eligible fields for the 2027–28 Fulbright-Nehru Fellowships are listed below:

- Participation is free, but advance registration is required. Please register only if you are certain of attending. 

- Kindly note that USIEF does not cover travel or accommodation expenses for participants.
