Registration: Introduction to Civil Disobedience

Greenpeace takes a clear stand for the environment - we are prepared to go far to stop environmental problems. Civil Disobedience and taking peaceful direct action is at the very core of who we are as an organisation and our work to confront environmental crimes, end pollution and demonstrate solutions.

For this reason, we invite you to an introduction to what Civil Disobedience and why it is part of a healthy democracy.  This introduction is a prerequisite to participate in our NVDA (Nonviolent Direct Action) training, which is a requirement if you wish to take part in nonviolent direct actions with us.

This training is mandatory for all Greenpeace (staff and volunteers) in Nordic. However, there are no expectations for participation in actions as a result of joining this training. Please join if you have not attended this session before.

The trainings will be held ONLINE on:
Saturday SEPTEMBER 21, 10 AM – 4 PM CEST (11 AM - 5 PM EEST)
Sunday NOVEMBER 17, 10 AM – 4 PM CEST (11 AM - 5 PM EEST)

For new volunteers & activists who's not yet participated in our 1h Introduction to Greenpeace meeting, training starts at 9AM CEST / 10AM EEST.

By filling out this form you are applying for the Introduction to Civil Disobedience. A final confirmation will be sent to you after you have submitted your application.
