The Anchorage Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors has five seats up for election. These seats are three-year terms beginning September 1, 2026.
The board will induct newly-elected members at its first fiscal board meeting on Friday, September 12, 2026. Anchorage Chamber members in good standing may file a petition to be placed on the election ballot by Tuesday, July 7, 2026.
To apply:1) Confirm your eligibility:
- Class I membership is the only class of membership in the Corporation with voting rights and includes Chamber Level Membership, Executive Level Membership, Corporate Level Membership, Business Level Membership, Small Business Level Membership, and Associate Level Membership. Membership class can be validated in the Member Directory. An Additional Listing, Trade, or Honorary Membership is not a category with voting privileges eligible for board service.
- No person may be elected or appointed to serve on the board with overlap in term from the same member organization, although the board can waive this with a two-thirds majority vote.
- A representative of a non-profit may serve on the board of directors in an appointed capacity for a one year term.

3) Obtain at least 20 separate Anchorage Chamber member signatures (all in good standing) on the petition form. Please limit one representative per business member to sign. Download the petition form at
