2024 Redditors on the Trail Signup List!
Welcome! Once again we are going to report on all of our Reddit thru-hikers that are attempting an AT hike in 2024. If you have a public online account of your hike that you're willing to share, we will update other Redditors on your 2024 hike while you're busy out on the trail. The only requirement is the the public can view your Instagram, Facebook, or blog updates. If it's private we cannot include it in the updates.

As always, even though we'll follow only public trail blogs, be aware that by signing up you are sharing your journey, and whatever personal details you choose to share along the way, with a wider audience.

Basic Information
The following questions are the basic questions required for the team to report on your progress!
What is your Trail Name if you have one? If you don't have one, what would you like us to refer to you as in the updates? Please provide an actual answer even if you haven't decided, this can always be changed later. *
What is your Reddit username? *
The purpose of this is to track the hikes of members of r/AppalachianTrail, not just to pump up random people's engagement metrics. This is also super useful as a way to reach you if we have trouble with your URL. If for some reason you do not want your Reddit name associated with your other social media just be sure to give us something to refer to you as in the question above.  
What is your Preferred Pronoun (we will use this in updates)? *
Which way are you heading? *
Where are you going to be providing updates? *
You can list your Website, Facebook, Instagram, Trail Journal or whatever URL you are going to update the most. All we ask is you have one, and that it's PUBLIC.  Not that we don't think you're swell and all, but we don't want to have to Friend you to see your updates. If you've got more than one social media URL, you can post both, with the second one below this question.  Due to their difficulty, we will not be able to track you if you are using TikTok, Twitter, or only updating the "story's" option in Instagram. Also, please paste the full URL, as responses like, "on Facebook and Instagram" make us have to play detective to try to find you.

Please keep in mind that if you change your channels name during your hike (like if you get a Trail name) that all links provided will likely be dead and we won't be able to find you. DM the mods if you want it updated.
