TSI Assessment at CSHS
PLEASE READ THIS INFORMATION BEFORE YOU BEGIN TO COMPLETE THIS FORM!

This is the form to register for the TSI Assessment at CSHS. The TSIA will take place in room 2102 at 11:45 on Mondays and 12:00 PM on Wednesdays. (Note date change for April's test-its Monday at 11:45 AM and Tuesday at 8:25 AM)

The deadline to register is 4:00 PM on the Friday before each test date.

The cost for the TSIA is $15.00. The fee will be assessed in InTouch and is non-refundable. It MUST be paid by the end of the semester. You will be charged for the TSI regardless of whether you show up to test (unless you cancel via email BEFORE the test begins). We hire proctors based on registration numbers. The fee will be assessed after registration closes each month.

Please include the student's email address below so we can communicate with you before test day. You will receive an email during the weekend before your scheduled test.

The TSI Assessment (TSIA) is part of the Texas Success Initiative program designed to help your college or university determine if you are ready for college-level course work in the areas of reading, writing, and mathematics. If you are an incoming college student in Texas, you are required to take the TSI Assessment - unless you are already exempt.

Explanation of Texas Success Initiative

TSI Exemptions (College-Readiness Scores)
  • ACT: Score a combined 40 on the English and Reading ACT (English)
  • ACT: Score 22 on the Math section (Math)
  • SAT: Evidence-Based Reading and Writing (EBRW) minimum score of 480
  • SAT: Mathematics minimum score of 530
  • Pass Dual-Credit English (English)
  • Complete Texas College Bridge (English and/or Math)
