Volunteer for the Northside 4th of July Parade
Volunteer opportunities:
Leading up to the parade
  • Door-to-Door Neighbor Notification Canvassing
Delivering notifications to a designated portion of the Parade Route anytime before 6/20. We'll provide maps,  printed notices, and a convenient pick up option.
  • Posting No-Parking Signs
Attach “No Parking” Signs between 10am on 7/2 and 10am on 7/3. 

Day of the Parade - July 4th!
  • Route Crew - Block Captains
Monitor barricades, direct cars away from the parade route, and potentially prevent cars or other disruptions from entering the route. (Large intersections will also have CPD presence supporting you. Responsibilities may also include erecting barricades and/or hospitality tents.)
  • Staging Lot Volunteers
Assist and support the coordination of participants of the parade at 4781 Hamilton Ave, the staging lot! Time slots will be available between 8:00 am – 12:00pm on July 4th!
