Parking:
There is street parking on Ellerslie Avenue. Please observe and obey street signs. Walks 'N' Wags and the venue accept no responsibility for vehicles that are ticketed or towed.
Parking lot space in the front is first come first serve however limited spots and we cannot guarantee availability.
What to Bring
1. Wear comfortable clothing that you can layer on and off.
2. Bring writing paper and pen/pencil.
3. We will provide some snacks and beverages but feel free to bring your own. There will be a lunch break to eat a larger meal if you’d like. Pack a lunch. There are a few options within walking distance if your would prefer to purchase something instead but keep in mind lunch break is 30 minutes.
4. Dogs are welcome if registered ONLY and there is a 4 dog per class maximum. Dogs must be relatively calm, quiet, sociable with dogs/people, and be willing to be handled for demonstrations. We reserve the right to send any dog home if s/he is felt to be disruptive or unsuitable for the dynamics of the class. While we cover cat first aid as well, we regret cats are unable to attend class since the dogs become too excited.
5.Stuffed dog or cat (preferably in a standing position) if you have one available to bring for your personal use for hands-on activities.
COVID-19 Health and Safety information:
Rest assured, your instructor Lyndsay Iezzi, and Walks ‘N’ Wags Pet First Aid take the safety of students and instructors extremely seriously. We want you to feel safe in our classes and look forward to welcoming you.
1. This class size is limited to ensure ample physical distancing
2. You will be provided with a personal stuffed animal and first aid supplies to utilize throughout the course
3. Please observe and adhere to all posted signage when you are in class
4. Face masks are required for this course due to BC government guidelines. Please bring your own. In fact 2 would be better so you can switch out after lunch.
5. As per B.C regulations all participants must show proof of vaccination QR codes for entry.
6. Live dogs are welcome if registered; however, can only be handled by their own family OR with owner's permission can be touched by others wearing provided disposable gloves or if hands are sanitized before and after touching dogs.
7. Hand sanitizer is readily available in class.
8. If you are feeling unwell please do not come to class. If your instructor is feeling unwell, I will contact you to let you know whether the class is rescheduled, or whether another instructor will be teaching class

Cancellations:
We will return full payment if a cancellation is made up to one week prior to the course start date. Any cancellations or date transfers after this point are subject to a $25 administration fee. Cancellations made within 72 hours of course start date will not be refunded nor transferred.
