Volunteer RSVP
Assalamu alaikum respected brothers and sisters,

For the sake of Allah, the Al Ansaar Masjid needs your service. Our desire is to get more members involved with "whatever time you can donate", and with a topic that you would be passionate about, and be proud of your contribution. There is no contribution too small, an hour per week, 2, 3 or 4. This is an opportunity to serve Allah and grow the unity of our community members. Please see the volunteer opportunities given below with their descriptions and contact me for any area you would enjoy participating in.

Get Involved! “Making a difference….together”
“[In houses (mosques) which Allaah has ordered to be raised (to be cleaned, and to be honoured), in them His Name is remembered i.e. Adhaan, Iqaamah, Salaah (prayers), invocations, recitation of the Qur’aan. Therein glorify Him (Allaah) in the mornings and in the afternoons or the evenings]” [al-Noor 24:36-37]”

Volunteerism in Islam is a God-centered practice. There is a strong ethic of volunteerism in the Qur'an and Sunnah , which encourages humanity to voluntarily share its time, wealth, knowledge, and acts of kindness with each other.  Volunteerism is part of the identity of practicing Muslims.

This is an opportunity for you regardless if you are working from home or out in the workforce to volunteer for the many programs at Masjid Al-Ansaar including the weekend school.

We especially in need of our youth's skills, physical strength, and creative ideas.  Furthermore, this opportunity will also qualify for volunteer hours for school, college and scholarship applications, etc. The AD & Sheikh can sign the volunteer hours’ official form as proof of your participation.

Please let us know where and when you can help.  If you don't see something below that fit your interest, please do not hesitate to contact the Imam or Br.Roger.
