Radio Tambrin's My Christmas Sweet competition, this year will be in collaboration with the Tobago Hospitality and Tourism Institute!
This competition is open to cake, ponche de creme, pastelle and cocktail enthusiasts. This year's competition provides an opportunity to showcase artistic and mixology skills, get feedback from our distinguished panel of judges, and win a tempting array of awards and prizes!
You will find the submission quantities and guidelines below. Once you submit your registration you can collect your entry containers at Radio Tambrin on December 9th and 10th from 8am to 4pm. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF YOUR FORM IS MONDAY DECEMBER 9TH, 2024.
• The entry must be the sole and original work of only the person listed on the Registration Form – Carving, icing, decorating, etc.
• All entries must be the original design and work of the competitor.
• All entries must be completely edible except for items such as columns, cake toppers, supports, wires, and stamens.
• Ribbons, tulle, etc., may be used to carry out a design. Don’t use non-edible items in place of sugar mediums; for example, plastic pearls instead of fondant pearls. Cold Porcelain is not allowed. “Edible Images” are allowed and will be judged in context with the entire entry. Use of other substances may cause the entry to be disqualified.
• Each entry must return this form with the competitor’s name, address, phone number, and display the description of their creation at their designated area/space.
• Each entrant/s will be provided with a designated space to display their creation.
• The judging of the cake and beverages will be on the day of the event on Sunday December 15th therefore all contestants/entrants will be allowed to set-up from 7:30am to ensure that they are ready for the judging to begin at 12 noon.
