2024 Summer Art Camp Registration

I have given sample projects but if I notice the kids aren’t interested in a subject that I’ve preplanned, I’ll make adjustments. A love for art and willingness to try new things is the best preparation for all of my art classes.

In general I think the morning classes would suit my younger students more and the afternoon classes are designed to be for my older students. Please contact me with any questions or concerns. Seriously. Parents may sign up as a student to any of these classes if they are interested.

Summer Classes. If you are signing up multiple kids for the same section, comment below in the next section. School gets out May 23rd in Davis County, so classes start June 4th! *

Session 1 (full) Morning Class 9:15-10:45 a. m. June 4-6 ($40) Theme: Painting and Drawing Disney Characters and Places. No experience required, just a love to create art. Ages 6+ (needs to be able to sit and focus). This class is designed for kids who want to explore with art.

Session 2 (full) Afternoon Class 12:00-1:30 p.m. June 4-6 ($40) Theme: Painting and Disney Characters and Places, with more challenging projects. Age 8+. Experience is helpful, but not required. This class is designed for kids who are looking to build on existing art skills.

Session 3 (full) Morning Class 9:15-10:45 a. m. June 11-13 ($40) Theme: Painting and drawing video game characters and places (Mario, Zelda, or Minecraft.) No experience required, just a love to create art. Ages 6+ (needs to be able to sit and focus)

Session 4 (3 spots left) Afternoon Class 12:00-1:30 p.m. June 11-13 ($40) Theme: Painting and drawing video game characters and places (Mario, Zelda, and Minecraft.) You need the ability to concentrate and work on higher detailed projects. Previous drawing and painting experience is helpful. Age 8+. No experience required, just a love to create art.

Session 5 (4 spots left) Morning Class 9:15-10:45 a. m. June 25-27 ($40) Theme: Painting and drawing animals and nature. No experience required, just a love to create art. Ages 6+ (needs to be able to sit and focus)

Session 6 (2 spots left) Afternoon Class 12:00-1:30 p.m. June 25-27 ($40) Theme: Painting and drawing animals and nature. Age 8+. No experience required, just a love to create art.

Session 7 (full) Afternoon Class 12:00-1:30 p.m. July 9th-11th ($40) Theme: Intro to Figure Drawing and Faces. Age 8+. Drawing experience will be highly beneficial. Learn the proportions of the human body, and practice sketching faces.

Session 8 (1 spots left) Morning Class 9:15-10:45 a. m. July 9th-11th ($40) Theme: Painting and drawing video game characters and places (Mario, Luigi, and Toad) No experience required, just a love to create art. Ages 6+ (needs to be able to sit and focus)

I agree to the following statements and I understand the structure of the class. *

MEDIA RELEASE: Libby Dibb has permission (during and any time after) to use pictures from class for advertisement (i.e. on facebook, her website, or Instagram). She will not include personal information about children. She will also try to not show full faces in pictures (i.e. the kid will hold picture up to face to cover mouth, but show eyes.)

MEDICAL RELEASE: I hereby approve of my/or my child’s attendance to Libby Dibb’s Art lessons and consent to his/her being given a physical examination, emergency treatment by a physician or hospital in case of an accident and to his/her taking part in the activity in Libby Dibb’s Art lessons. And I will not hold Libby Dibb and any of her staff or volunteers responsible for injury to your or our child, damage to his/her property, or lost or stolen property which may occur while participating in Libby Dibb’s Art lessons in her home at 281 Williams Lane, Centerville, UT 84014.

LESSON CANCELLATION POLICY: After payment is submitted, you are signed up for the class. If you need to cancel your enrollment in the class for any reason, you receive half the payment back. You must cancel a week in advance. That gives me time to fill your student’s spot in time for the class. There is no refund once class has started.

SICK POLICY: If class is cancelled due to the teacher's illness, make up days will be offered. Minor colds are acceptable, but a mask if coughing would be great. If you have a current fever or have been throwing up in the last 24 hours, please stay home and we'll try to work something out.

REMINDERS: Libby will send out reminders the day of the class, but if she forgets it's still your responsibility to remember. The benefits of a once of month class include not feeling to overwhelmed with activities! The negative is the irregularity of the schedule. Please mark your calendars.
