Kiddush is a wonderful way to join together as a community, to catch up, create new friendships, and celebrate Shabbat together. All are welcome, whether we came for the very first words of Pesukei D’Dzimrah, came for a simcha or yahrzeit, sat with Torah study, came with kids for mini minyan, or caught up with an old friend in the hallway. At Adath Israel, we believe "Im ein kemach, ein Torah" - "If there is no flour, there is no Torah." Joining together to break bread (or bagels) is an essential part of Torah.
As you mark upcoming milestones, including birthdays, baby namings, wedding anniversaries, B'nai Mitzvah anniversaries, and yahrzeits, or if you just want to celebrate and nurture our community we invite you to share them with the congregation through a kiddush sponsorship. All of these options help to subsidize our weekly investment in our community.
