Two (2) Orientation Events will be conducted in advance of RI BioBlitz 2024 at Norman Bird Sanctuary in Middletown, RI. You are free to choose whichever one works better for you...

Orientation is NOT REQUIRED, but is VERY HELPFUL for FIRST TIME PARTICIPANTS, and lots of fun for all!

1. Tuesday, April 23 at 5:30pm for pizza & socializing, 6:00pm meeting, at Roger Williams Park Zoo, Education Center in Providence, RI.

2. Thursday, April 25 at 5:30pm for pizza & socializing, 6:00pm meeting, at Norman Bird Sanctuary in Middletown, RI.

At Orientation you'll learn all about how a RI BioBlitz is conducted, the variety of roles that you can fill, the diverse teams you can participate on, and what makes the Norman Bird Sanctuary (NBS) in Middletown, RI. a PERFECT location for R BioBlitz 2024!

The preliminary site map will be available shortly, in the mean time, the NBS trail map is below. With it you can appreciate the diversity of habitats that this awesome parcel provides.
