Welcome to SHARE Kids' Care Summer Camp! We are excited to offer camps all summer long at Southern Hope Animal Rescue, located at 146 White Horse Drive, Shawboro, NC 27973 .

Summer Camp is available for children going into kindergarten through sixth grade for the 2024-2025 school year. Please complete this registration form indicating which weeks you'd like your child to attend. Details are included throughout the form and you will receive a copy of your typed form to the email address you provide.

Summer camp is run by the President of Southern Hope Animal Rescue & Education, Janessa Lockwood, who has almost 30 years of experience in the equine industry and Melissa Follin, SHARE Kids' Care Director and licensed teacher with 19 years classroom experience.

Please keep in mind: SHARE is a working farm that rescues animals including horses, ponies, goats, dogs, and more. Safety is of the upmost importance to us and time will be spent with children reviewing the rules so that we are all safe. Children must follow the rules and take direction from the adults in charge. Running off and/or hiding, as well as refusing to move, are unsafe choices at the farm and if a child has the tendency to do any of these when upset, SHARE is not a good fit at this time. Summer camp is $200/week, per child. 
All-Summer-Long Childcare is $190/week, per child if registering for 9 or more weeks. 

A $15/week, per child, non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot(s). Once registration is received, the Kids’ Care Director will email letting you know if SHARE has availability and then you will be prompted to pay via Venmo, cash or check to reserve your space.

I acknowledge that my child must be fully potty trained to attend. There are no exceptions.  *
I acknowledge that this is a working farm and my child must follow the rules of the farm and directions given by the adults in charge. Failure to do so may result in my child needing to be picked up from camp and not allowed to return. In this event, the camp payment will not be refunded.  *
I acknowledge I will need to fill out a volunteer form that is needed for insurance purposes. I will complete this form and return it one week prior to my child's first day. (The form will be sent once registration is approved.) *
