National Conference on Shifting Paradigms: Uniting for Women's Empowerment and Gender Equality (February 12-13, 2025)
The Department of Sociology at the Virtual University of Pakistan is pleased to announce a call for Research Papers abstracts for (oral and poster presentations) the Two-Day National Conference on "Shifting Paradigms: Uniting for Women's Empowerment and Gender Equality,  to be held on February 12-13, 2025, in Islamabad, Pakistan. 
We invite scholars, academics, and students to submit their research papers and posters for consideration. Best research papers and poster will also be considered for best paper and best poster awards. This conference aims to explore the various dimensions of violence against women, providing a platform for insightful discussions and innovative solutions.

Themes of the Conference:

Participants are encouraged to submit research papers, and posters on the following themes:


Submission Details:

  • Submit your Abstract of research paper (oral or poster presentation) through the provided Google form by January 10, 2025.
  • Online registration will open on 10th January 2025, and account details will be shared along with the acceptance notification. 
  • Shortlisted participants will receive notification about the venue of the event via email.
