Community Opinion on Proposed Housing in Boxborough Town Center district
While completely unbinding, this petition will be delivered to the elected officials on the Planning Board as they consider an application to build a luxury development of 100 2- and 3-bedroom condominium homes with a private pool and recreation center, on the privately-held land that is currently zoned as 'Town Center', despite the original intention for mixed public use of this space, with some senior housing.
Please indicate your position on this application, and provide your name and address so the Town can take your opinion into account.
You will have the opportunity to indicate whether your concerns are related to traffic, construction, water, environment, the developers, and/or its potential impact on the character of our town.
Additional comments are optional, and will be relayed to the Planning Board (anonymously, if you prefer) to be included in their deliberations.
If you would like to be updated on the outcome of this petition, and/or receive newsletter updates, please provide an email address (will NEVER be sold or shared!), or visit the community-run website:
What is your position on the proposed 100 units of housing under consideration by the Planning Board? (please choose 1)
Planning board should DENY this application
Planning Board should APPROVE this application and move ahead with the Fenton/Jeanson & Toll Brothers development
My greatest area(s) of concern are the following (select one or more):
inconsistent with the town's character
traffic on 111
traffic on side roads
construction impact and blasting
damage to local environment
danger to local aquifer / water supply
track record of developers
I would like to add a note for the Planning Board officials (indicate below if you wish for these comments to be provided anonymously):
