This form is for current students at the University of Portsmouth to apply for a voluntary role as a Welcome Ambassador. The role is focused on ensuring new students for 2018-19 are actively welcomed and supported to settle in through connecting with other new students. The main time commitment will be in September and October 2018 (no more than 1-2 hours a week), mainly online.

Please also note that this project is being conducted as part of a wider set of initiatives and projects to improve wellbeing and safeguarding at the University of Portsmouth. You will be sent a separate information sheet to request your voluntary participation in the research/evaluation related to this project. Your choice to participate in the research will not have any bearing on your acceptance to the Welcome Ambassador role.
Your application confirms your consent to the general filming and/or photograph which will take place during the training. Any further evaluations, research or filming related to the project will be separately consented.
