Inspired by this mission, we organized the Buffalo March for Science which last year drew a diverse crowd of over 3,000 participants. Organizations that hosted a table at the science fair in the past mentioned that it was one the best events they had done in terms of turnout.
This year, the second annual Buffalo March for Science will begin at Niagara Square and end at Canalside where we will host a Science Fair and a platform for invited speakers. The fair is a great opportunity to showcase your organization and find your next devoted volunteer. To participate, your organization will be provided a table to present information, demonstrations and/or hands-on activities for the fair attendees and those arriving from the March. Inspired by Science Demands Action’s mission, the theme for the Science Fair is “How can Science help you? How can you help science?”.
If your organization would like to participate, please fill out the form below. We will follow up your response with more information regarding the event, and to obtain a high resolution copy of your logo to use in promotional material.
We want to keep this event free and accessible to everyone. To cover venue, rental and other costs, we have a suggested donation of $50, however donations are not required to participate in the Science Fair.
