Sign On to Support 0.05 BAC for a Safer Hawaiʻi

The Hawaiʻi Alcohol Policy Alliance is seeking endorsements for state legislation to lower the per se level for alcohol-impaired driving from 0.08 to 0.05 blood alcohol concentration (BAC).

Hawaiʻi has the seventh-highest rate of alcohol-impaired driving deaths in the nation. The Hawaiʻi Alcohol Policy Alliance is working to improve road safety by keeping impaired driving off our roads. Lowering the BAC to 0.05 has been proven to reduce drinking and driving, alcohol-related deaths, and other related consequences.

By endorsing the 0.05 BAC regulation, your name or organization name and/or logo may be used on our web page, social media, in print, or other mediums indicating your support for a bill to enact a 0.05 BAC regulation in the State of Hawaiʻi or county, subject to any restrictions you stipulate below.
