We offer financial assistance to educational and community groups who are unable to pay for planetarium programing. If your group would like to request financial assistance, please reach out to us directly at info@solsticeoutreach.com with an explanation of your group and need for financial aid. We handle all requests on a case-by-case basis. Our goal is to support education and sponsor a love for space science in individuals from all backgrounds.

PROGRAM INFORMATION
Please read the following information about Solstice planetarium shows before proceeding.

  • The Solstice planetarium can fit a maximum of 25 adults or 30 children. Larger groups can be accommodated with additional shows. 

  • The dome measures 5m (~16ft) in diameter and 3.2m (~10.5ft) in height. Please make sure there is sufficient space at your location to set up the dome.

  • For safety reasons, the Solstice planetarium may not be used outside.

We are currently only scheduling shows within two hours of Columbus, Ohio. We may make exceptions for longer events—please reach out if you have questions!

Please include any accessibility (e.g. sensory friendly or tactile programming) requests or information you want us to be aware of. The Solstice Planetarium dome does not have seating, so all attendees will need to be able to sit on the floor. If you have any concerns about this, please let us know here.
