The next generation of STEM professionals is vital to the world's continued progress. Not only do these skills serve as the backbone for business, but STEM professionals will be delivering the next 100 years of engineering, invention, and technological innovation. Teachers, educators, mentors and coaches are key to helping equip students with the tools, education, and mentorship needed to succeed in STEM.
Bechtel is the presenting sponsor of Dream Big: Engineering Our World (www.dreambigfilm.com), the first film of its kind for IMAX® and other giant-screen theaters.
The Bechtel Dream Big Educator Award, which honors educators who are inspiring, leading, and influencing the next generation of students to “Dream Big.” Nominations will be accepted from students, parents, educator peers, community organizations, business partners, and non-profit leaders. Nominators should explain how the educator has made a lasting impact on the student’s education, their desire to pursue a STEM career,and/or how the nominee has made a difference in the STEM field.
Nominations will be open from February 7 – February 28, 2018.
Nominees should have guided students on engineering projects and programs that focus on improving communities or creating positive change in the world using STEM.
