Student Application

If your child is currently attending NES, great news — you have priority but seats are limited! You’ll just need to complete this application to secure their spot. We will follow up by email. If seats are all filled, a waiting list will be started.

For families wanting to attend Newberry Community School who are not currently enrolled at NES, Florida law requires charter schools to hold a lottery if the number of applications is greater than the number of available seats. Completing this form doesn’t guarantee admission, but it’s the first important step in the process. After the lottery is conducted, those students not selected for enrollment will be placed on a waiting list in order of their lottery number. Students that are selected will be notified in writing and given the opportunity to submit an enrollment packet to formally enroll.

Notification of acceptance will go out by email.
