Associated Wedding Planners of Austin Membership Application
Thank you for your interest in AWPA!

The application process is taking applicants 20-40 minutes. Everything that you submit in this application is in completely confidential. Please read the information below to determine a better estimate for your company, given your own system for record keeping. *Work cannot be saved along the way. Taking a break may cause the information to be lost.*

As a reminder, you may attend two lunches as a non-member prior to making a commitment to join. Each lunch is $35 as a member or $65 as a non-member.
Please complete the following application and return to the Membership Director along with:
-Certificate of business liability insurance with at least $1M in coverage
-PDF vendor packets for three weddings listed under "Experience"
-PDF vendor packets for the weddings in which you wish to count towards your membership (15 minimum)
-$35 non-refundable application fee – payment link provided here:
*As a reminder, application content (itineraries, publications, involvements, etc) is specific to the person applying, not the company as a whole.

Only completed applications will be accepted and applications will not be considered until the application fee is paid. The information provided in this application will be verified, reviewed, and your application will be presented to the AWPA Board of Directors for consideration. While awaiting approval, you may visit one luncheon at the membership rate as a measure of good faith.

Applications are subject to verification through means of contacting vendors as necessary.

Upon approval of your membership application, you will be invited to join AWPA. Once your membership fee of $200 is paid, you will be accepted into membership with AWPA and enjoy the benefits of the organization.

In order to be in good standing, members must do all of the following:
a. Actively serve on a committee each year.
b. Stay current with monthly meeting fees and annual dues
c. Attend 50% of the last 12 AWPA monthly meetings
d. Plan one AWPA meeting per year (see ”Meeting Information” section)

A member in good standing will enjoy the following membership benefits:
a. Opportunity to vote in elections
b. Listing on AWPA website
c. Participation in Facebook group
d. Opportunity to hold AWPA office (after having been a member for two years)
e. Participation in Assistant Program
