Congregation: Do We Qualify for Free Trees?
Thank you so much for your interest in CIPL's Our Sacred Canopy program with American Forest!

Please fill out this request form to see if your congregation qualifies for free trees. Once CIPL verifies that your house of worship is eligible for this program, we will reach out and schedule an initial meeting with you and other leaders from your faith community.

In addition to receiving free trees, CIPL is offering these resources for educational workshops and worship services:

A tree equity workshop guide and educational materials that highlights how planting trees can cool neighborhoods, clean the air, and improve public health, especially in communities that have been historically neglected.

Liturgy for a tree planting ceremony to offer blessings, prayers, and rituals that resonate with your faith traditions, acknowledging the profound act of planting trees as an expression of care for creation.

I understand that all trees from “Our Sacred Canopy” must be planted in a low- canopy neighborhood as determined by the EPA section of the Tree Equity Score map. Therefore, I may or may not qualify to receive free trees depending on the physical location of my congregation.

CIPL will confirm my congregation's eligibility before proceeding with this project.
