The Defiance County Board of Developmental Disabilities (DCBDD) is excited to be establishing a Support Group called "Caring Connections". This group is open to parents, family members and support systems of individuals enrolled in services provided by the DCBDD. This group will provide an opportunity to meet with one another to share resource updates, emotional support, guidance, and advocacy for your loved ones and those impacting persons with developmental disabilities. The goals of this group are:

• Be there for one another.
• Ask what support you are in need of.
• Encourage friendships with your loved ones peers.
• Be kind and compassionate.
• Learn more about the Developmental Disabilities world and resources that are available.
• Be inclusive.

Activities and Care for your loved ones will also be provided.
