Citation Review Form
If you believe you were issued a citation in error for one of the reasons listed below, please complete and submit a citation review form:

- You had a legitimate parking permit for the area you were parked in.
- Your meter was malfunctioning and you reported it to Parking and Transportation Services.
- You are no longer the owner of the vehicle that was cited.
- A clerical error.

* If you received a NO TAG from Parking and Transportation Services, and received a citation, fill out the NO TAG section as well.

Your citation will be reviewed and a response will sent via email. It may take up to ten business days to receive a response.  If you have not heard from us within 10 business days, please email police@umn.edu.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The University of Minnesota Police Department cannot dismiss a parking citation that has been paid. Once a fine is paid, it is considered closed by the Court System and the status cannot be changed. The University of Minnesota Police Department is not responsible for the fines and cannot issue refunds.  You have 30 days to pay the fine associated with your citation.
