Calling all Muslim Students, Faculty and Staff at Salt Lake Community College!                          Please select a time to share and get your story recorded for the Utah Muslim Heritage-                   100s of Years of History project
 Al Mustafa Foundation of Utah is collecting stories of Muslims in Utah. The aim of this project is to record the contributions of the members of our growing community and record the history of Muslims in our state. Our volunteers will be at the event to share more about the project with you and you can pick a time to share your story. For example, you can share your experience of being a student at SLCC or why your family decided to settle in Utah. You can share your achievements, student experience,clubs you are part of ,what does it mean to be a Muslim in Utah or other stories you want to share. Please pick a time slot. First 20 students to register will receive a gift card at the event.  Join us on

We are looking for: photos, artifacts (things that hold special value to you), journals, letters, documents, recipes, certificates of achievement, medals, or artwork to go along with your story. Our volunteers will scan  or photograph your items and get your story recorded. We will return the originals to you. Bring only 3-4 items please.
