MIRC Public Charge Community Education Outreach Signup Form
The Maine Immigrant Rights Coalition (MIRC) in partnership with its member organization is conducting community education and outreach on the proposed Public Charge rule to share the impact of the published “Public Charge” in Maine.

Let us know about your organization’s already scheduled events including where, when, what time, contact information for the organizer(s) etc., so that our MIRC Public Charge content experts (ILAP and MeBIC) can try to join the event to explain the rule change and answer questions. These could be meetings, fairs, faith gatherings, whatever events bring multiple people together. Please note that outreach to Maine’s immigrant communities or service providers is critical!

For more information about your meeting you can email Mufalo Chitam at mufaloc@maineimmigrantrights.org or Julia Brown @ILAP - jbrown@ilapmaine.org
 or Beth Stickney @ MeBIC - bstickney@mainebic.org
and to learn more about the potential changes to the “public charge” policy, see this fact sheet below.
