Per the Alamo Heights Police Department:
There cannot be ANYTHING thrown from the parade participants. This includes candy, toys footballs, T-Shirts, etc. If the participants want to have volunteers walk along side of the roadway and HAND things out, that is permitted! Parade participants WILL BE REMOVED at the nearest cross street by police officers if they cannot adhere to this rule.
