Camp UniStar has been managed in the off season by volunteers since its founding in 1961. These volunteers are part of Camp UniStar Foundation as either Management Committee or Board members. The Management Committee is responsible for operations, procedures and planning that create successful summers and a sustainability future for Camp UniStar.

Management Committee members participate in one meeting per month between October through April. The meetings are on Saturday afternoons for up to four hours in the twin cities metro area and include a potluck. A remote participation option is in the works but not available at this time. Will you be able to participate in Management Committee meetings? *
All Management Committee members serve on one or more subcommittees, which requires about 10 to 20 hours per month. Subcommittees may also hold meetings in addition to the monthly meeting. Will you be able to dedicate 10 to 20 hours per month to subcommittee tasks? *
Management Committee members open and close Camp UniStar on Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends. Will you be able to come to Camp UniStar on Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends? *

Camp UniStar has a group of people who volunteer for Camp UniStar, called UniCorps. UniCorps volunteers serve on subcommittees and have an important impact on the work of camp but are not required to attend the monthly Management Committee meetings.
