2019 College Scholarship Application
The Minnesota Subcontractors Association (MSA) and The Builders Group (TBG) will be awarding three $3,000 scholarships to qualifying students. Please complete all steps below.

The following requirements must be fulfilled by all scholarship applicants:

1) Applicant must be currently enrolled in a construction or building trades major.
2) Applicant may be a dependent of an owner, a dependent of an employee or an employee of a company who is a member of the MSA who is currently enrolled in a construction or building trades major.
3) Applicant must have maintained at least a 2.5 GPA or equivalent.
4) Applicant will need to submit an official transcript confirming their GPA in Step 9 or email to events@msamn.com. If applicant does not have an official transcript, an unofficial transcript will be accepted directly from their school. APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED IF TRANSCRIPT IS NOT RECEIVED.
5) Applicants must fill out this application in its entirety and submit by 11:59pm on December 7, 2018.

Awards and Selection Process:

* Scholarships will be awarded as a one-time payment made payable to the school.
* Students will be notified by January 11, 2019.
* Scholarship recipients will be recognized at the annual MSA awards dinner on January 22, 2019 at Golden Valley Country Club. During the presentation, a representative and the student will be invited to address the audience. Scholarship winners are encouraged to attend along with a representative from their school as honored guests of the MSA and TBG. During the presentation, the student and their representative will be invited to address the audience.
