Mentor Application
Thank you for your interest in helping Journeymen inspire the men of tomorrow!

Becoming a mentor is both fun and challenging. We believe that mentorship is a crucial ingredient for a healthy society, encouraging collaboration across the generations by tapping into the genius of our youth and reclaiming the wisdom within our adults. It is a commitment to serving others and a powerful way to enrich your own life experience.

We feel that this role is ideal for fathers (and those planning to be), educators, coaches, and all other adult males who are ready to take a stand for healthy masculinity.

Our mentorship program includes dynamic training experiences designed to immerse you into the work across three unique stages. Training is diverse, involving both hard and soft skills as well as regular check-ins with your own mentor and elders in our community.

STAGE 1 will bring you into a circle of men who share your passion for youth engagement. Two days in length, our mentor training weekend will provide you with a space to discover your own edges and refine your unique gifts through a progression of intentional activities.

STAGE 2 is the heart of the work. You will support our youth through their own 10 day rite of passage (ROP), showing up in your most authentic form and committing to holding the space for others to step into entirely new ways of being.

STAGE 3 holds our community together. Integration is the key to carrying over the momentum from the peak summer experiences into meaningful change for the greater good. We ask that our mentors stay involved across a full year, committing at least 4 hours per month to direct youth engagement and remaining generally available to the youth who grow close to you.

As a mentor, you will be invited to participate in many of the other programs we facilitate throughout the year, deepening your experience and broadening your skill-set.

Please complete the form below to initiate the next phase of your journey. We will follow up with you after a thorough review of your responses.
