CMDFA VIC Community Tea November 9
Community Dinners are back and we are so looking forward to reconnecting and meeting some new faces!
This time round we're shaking things up a little with afternoon tea instead of dinner.

When: Sat 9 November 2019 2.00-4.00pm
Where: Prof Rev Victor and Winnie Yu’s home at Abbotsford

We are excited to hear from Dr David Leung, president of MSI, on the topic “See one, do one, teach one: our discipleship model”

MSI Professional Services is a non-profit organization serving the holistic needs of the people in inland China. Committed Christians share Christ’s love with their lives, promoting meaningful exchange, and cooperating with the Chinese government and other entities to equip local communities to serve China’s vulnerable populations.

David, an ABC, grew up in a Christian home and responded to God’s challenge to cross-cultural ministry while in college. Formal preparation included a B.S. in Animal Science, a medical degree with further training in Family Medicine, and an M.A. in Biblical Studies. Together with their children, David and his wife Vivian served in Shanxi from 1996-2014, where they were involved in medical work, education and community development, as well as training, equipping, and mentoring local Chinese staff leaders. They joined MSI Professional Services (Medical Services International) in January 2015, where David transitioned into the role of president in March 2015. They have three sons, currently aged 22, 20, and 18, who are back in the US for studies.
