Application for Online Seminar: Debate Methodology and Active Citizenship

The online seminar is jointly organized by International Debate Education Association (IDEA), Open Communication, and the Croatian Debate Society, within an Erasmus+ projectย YouthSpeakUp: Empowering Youth with Debate.

Teachers, youth workers, trainers, students, and other education professionals from across Europe are invited to apply for thisย online seminar, focused on debate as an educational and youth work methodology that supports critical thinking, communication skills, and active democratic participation among young people.

Participants will:

  • explore debate methodology in education
  • gain access to practical tools and project materials for organizing and sustaining debate activities
  • learn how debate empowers young people to engage in democratic processes

The seminar will be held online, participation is free of charge, and all participants will receive a certificate of participation.
