COVID-19 scientist volunteer opportunity with AdVeritasDX
The coordination team at the COVID-19 National Scientist Volunteer Database wants to bring to your attention an opportunity to directly help in the fight against COVID-19.

AdVeritasDx ( is a non-profit entity founded to document the wide array of SARS-CoV-2 molecular and serological tests that have emerged in the past several months. They have compiled a complete database of all COVID-19 diagnostics that have received, or are pending, FDA EUA status.  The searchable database can be sorted and filtered according to test type, manufacturer, technical specifications, etc. to allow direct comparisons of methods for selection purposes. AdVeritasDx developed the website to provide a free and unbiased resource for scientists, health officials, and other authorities responsible for deciding which test to use for their jurisdictions.

The group is seeking help with maintaining their test database. The number of tests is constantly growing and the status of tests already on the list must be curated as FDA status changes or tests are removed from the US market. Volunteers with experience in medical diagnostics or data mining are especially welcome.

Any questions about this opportunity should be sent to Mike Reed ( or Tony Morrison (
