By completing this health questionnaire you will help the genetic studies on the health of the Leonberger breed which takes place at the University of Bern in collaboration with the University of Minnesota, the Uppsala University, the Utrecht University and the Broad Institute.

Please note that the data is collected for research only and your information will be treated confidentially within the involved research centers and scientific collaborators.

It is very important to the success of the Leonberger health studies of laryngeal paralysis, polyneuropathy, bone cancer, and blood vessel tumor, that we have complete and accurate information on all dogs.
A dog is only as old as their last health update to us.
Please complete this questionnaire even if your dog is no longer alive, so that we have a lifetime health history.

We are most importantly looking for updates on dogs that have DNA with us (or can supply us with a sample) with these criteria:

-> Diagnosed with or died from: laryngeal paralysis, polyneuropathy (LPN), leukoencephalomyelopathy (LEMP), bone cancer (osteosarcoma), or blood vessel tumor (hemangiosarcoma).

-> Dogs that lived to 8 years or older and did NOT have these conditions.
