About the program: Every Thursday, the North Park Neighbourhood Association (NPNA) puts together free weekly grocery hampers that go out to about 100 households per week. Hamper recipients live in the North Park neighbourhood. The hampers are made up of produce, bread, some non-perishable items and eggs. These are sorted by an amazingly efficient group of volunteers on Thursdays. We couldn’t do this program without these wonderful, dedicated volunteers!
Eligibility:
To be eligible for a hamper, recipients must live in the North Park neighbourhood.
Signing up:
1) Please fill out the form below.
2) The Grocery Hamper Coordinator, Ruby, will contact you to confirm she has received the form, and let you know when to come pick up your first hamper.
Picking up your hamper:
Recipients are asked to pick up their hamper EVERY THURSDAY BETWEEN 11:00am-11:45am at First Met Church (932 Balmoral).
If you are not able to pick up your hamper due to mobility or accessibility concerns, please let Ruby know and other arrangements will be made if possible.
