Expedition Everglades - Registration

The Friends of the Miami-Dade Public Library, in partnership with non-profit Reach The World, are thrilled to invite all Library patrons to join National Geographic Explorer and wildlife photographer George McKenzie Jr on a four-week journey through Florida’s Northern Everglades. 


Through journal articles, livestreams, and two in-person events at the Westchester Library, George will share his work documenting the endangered Florida panther using camera traps. Participants will explore the intersection of curiosity, conservation, and storytelling, while discovering how technology helps protect wild spaces. This event is family friendly and for all ages.
