Sounds of Aotearoa webinar
Teachers, register below to join this free online professional learning session on Thursday 7 May 4:00–4:45 pm.

Sound is a fantastic topic to engage students with science. There are lots of testable ideas for students to explore both in the classroom and at home.

Join Greta Dromgool and the New Zealand Association of Primary Science Educators (NZAPSE) as we explore fun ways you can learn about sound. With simple activities using easy to source equipment we will demonstrate how to engage students in discovering science ideas behind sound.

This year's Primary Science Week The sounds of Aotearoa runs from the 11–15 May. Check out the NZAPSE website and get prepared for hands-on learning with our free webinar.

If you want to learn more about sound have a look at the Science Learning Hub’s Sound topic: (https://www.sciencelearn.org.nz/topics/sound).

This session will be valuable for primary and lower secondary school teachers, parents and caregivers supporting learning science at home.

You will be sent a reminder email before the webinar.

We will be using Zoom, and you can connect to our live session using this link: https://waikato.zoom.us/j/359736528. For more information on using Zoom, see our article Introducing our PLD (www.sciencelearn.org.nz/resources/2557-introducing-our-pld).
