What to Expect

The MoreRNO team is seeking volunteers to participate in a simulated ground boarding operation. During the event, participants will experience a new boarding process at RNO: using a newly built sloped, passenger walkway, travelers will proceed outside and board their aircraft via a boarding ramp.

Event Details

Date: October 14, 2026
Arrival Time: 7:00 PM

Parking, check-in and TSA screening from 7:00-7:45 p.m. Event starts at 8:00 p.m. Event estimated to end by 10:00 p.m.

This event will take place beyond airport security, and all attendees must pass through TSA screening. A REAL ID, passport, or another valid form of identification is required. 

Who Should Apply?

Everyone is welcome to apply! To properly simulate the boarding operation, we need participants representing a wide range of needs and experiences. People with disabilities or accessibility needs, families with young children, college students, and frequent flyers are all encouraged to apply.

Space is limited. Applications will close once we reach our target number of participants.

Submitting this application does not guarantee a spot in the event. Accepted applicants will be notified by October 7th. Additional information will be requested of accepted applicants to complete the clearance process.
