Each open mic performance is limited to 5 minutes. Participation requirements include: a Zoom account, a functioning microphone, and a functioning video camera. We will email information for joining the performers-only Zoom meeting prior to the event. The event, including your performance, will be streamed publicly/live on AANM's Facebook page and archived for later views. In alignment with AANM's commitment to an arts sector rooted in justice, we are committed to ensuring a space that is free of racism, transphobia, homophobia, Islamophobia, ableism, misogyny, classism or other bias. We also encourage freedom of expression and we aim to create a brave, generative space. Our expectation is that all guests and performers will honor these ethics.
