Consistent with the district Transportation Policy, parents/guardians may request a change of their child’s bus stop using this form. All requests for bus stop changes will be reviewed by the district's Transportation Department and decisions will be communicated within 10 business days.

District Transportation Policy Information

Bus stops are assigned to students based on the proximity of a student’s residence to a location that is safe to walk to and to congregate to wait for the bus while maintaining the efficiency of the overall route. It is not possible for the district to route buses and locate stops according to the sight lines from individual student residences. Only kindergarten students are guaranteed door-to-door transportation. Based on our district Transportation Policy, students are expected to travel up to a certain distance to their bus stop. These distances are:

Elementary – Up to 1/10th of a mile from home to bus stop Middle school – Up to 2/10th of a mile High school – Up to 3/10th of a mile
