Operation Safe and Sound, Labor Day Weekend Sept. 5th - 7th
CERT will patrol San Luis Pass on Saturday September 5th, Sunday Sept. 6th, and Monday Sept. 7th. We will have 2 shifts per day. The first Shift will be from 8 am till 11 am, and the second shift will be from 5 pm till 8 pm. Members may choose to work into the afternoon if they choose but cannot be by themselves. If you have not been through the orientation on the Yamaha Side-by-Side, we will drive and receive an orientation on the use of the side-by-side at the event. I will need a copy of your driver's license and current auto insurance in order for you to operate the side-by-side or any other CERT vehicle as a driver.
You will need your CERT Vest and ID Badge. You should bring all other supplies that you will need to be safe and comfortable on the beach during your shift.
We may be asked to assist the beach patrol on the far east end of the island as well, you will be notified if we need volunteers to help on the east end.
