On 24 Jun (Sun), R.U.M. will have several FREE activities on the finale of Pesta Ubin.
We expect 200-300 people to attend, many probably first timers to Ubin. Minister Desmond will attend as well as a VVIP (yet to be announced). A great opportunity to share about mangroves, Ubin and R.U.M.
We need your help!
R.U.M. Booth: 8am-4pm
========================
- Explain about mangroves: what are mangroves, why are they important.
- Explain about R.U.M.
- As aids to explanation, there will be the R.U.M. pamphlets, R.U.M. colouring sheets, mangrove plant specimens, examples of mangrove products commonly found in supermarkets (e.g., attap chee)
- Don't worry if you are not familiar with the subjects. Experienced R.U.M. members will be there to guide you.

==========================================
- Guide visitors on a 30min-1hour walk, starting at the Assembly Area towards the Sensory Trail ponds. The walk introduces them to Ubin’s mangroves and wildlife, as well as learn about kampung culture.
- It’s alright if you don’t want to guide. We need volunteers to help keep the visitors together, help take photos of the walk and to find interesting animals for the guides to talk about.
