We expect 200-300 people to attend, many probably first timers to Ubin. Minister Desmond will attend as well as a VVIP (yet to be announced). A great opportunity to share about mangroves, Ubin and R.U.M.

R.U.M. Booth: 8am-4pm========================- Explain about mangroves: what are mangroves, why are they important.- Explain about R.U.M. - As aids to explanation, there will be the R.U.M. pamphlets, R.U.M. colouring sheets, mangrove plant specimens, examples of mangrove products commonly found in supermarkets (e.g., attap chee)- Don't worry if you are not familiar with the subjects. R.U.M. R.U.M. Mangrove Walk: 11.30am and 2.30pm==========================================- Guide visitors on a 30min-1hour walk, starting at the Assembly Area towards the Sensory Trail ponds. The walk introduces them to Ubin’s mangroves and wildlife, as well as learn about kampung culture.- It’s alright if you don’t want to guide.
