Application for participation on an Alternative Break Experience service-learning trip offered through Campus Ministry.

This service-learning experience requires a considerable amount of personal flexibility, maturity, team work collaboration, physical stamina, and collegial problem solving/decision-making. Students will be required to walk on uneven surfaces with some elevated, moderate climbing.

Applications will be reviewed as they come in and applicants will be chosen on a first come first serve basis.

By participating in an Alternative Break Experience trip, I agree to allow St. Scholastica to use my name, photograph, story and video/audio for any number of marketing purposes and communication vehicles to promote the college. Interview
Once submitted, applications will be reviewed and applicants will be contacted by the co-leaders. The co-leaders will arrange for an interview prior to selection for an ABE Trip. Applicants are not guaranteed an interview with their first choice trip, but we will try our best to accommodate your preferences.
Need Based Scholarships
Limited need-based scholarships are available to students who go on ABE Trips. Receiving an ABE Scholarship reduces the overall cost of your ABE Trip Fees.  Scholarship Application forms are due at the time of ABE Participant Application. Scholarship applications received after the application deadline will require a meeting with the Campus Minister in order to be considered.  Applicants applying after the application deadline will only be considered if funds remain available. If you do not apply for a scholarship you will be expected to pay full price.
