FixOurFood: FSM Auto-enrolment Impact Survey (~5 minutes)

**Please complete this survey even if you have previously sent us information**

FixOurFood, at the University of York, is conducting research, in collaboration with Bremner & Co and the Food Foundation, to support and evaluate the implementation of free school meal auto-enrolment processes. As part of this work, we are working closely with local authorities across England to understand their free school meal (FSM) auto-enrolment processes (through collating useful documents and conducting interviews), and collecting data on the impact that implementing FSM auto-enrolment has had on free school meal registrations, associated pupil premium,  and cost-benefits, to name just a few.

In this context, FSM auto-enrolment means a FSM registration process using an ‘opt-out / right to object’ model. This involves identifying families through existing datasets and writing to parents to inform them their children will be automatically registered unless they opt-out.

We have designed a short survey to help us understand the impact FSM auto-enrolment has had on additional FSM registrations and pupil premium funding

Taking part in this survey is entirely voluntary. All data collected will only be accessed and used by named members of the research team and all information will remain confidential. Survey responses will be stored securely on the University of York’s computer system. Your contact details (should you choose to provide them) will be stored separately on the University secure server and will be destroyed at the end of the study.

By clicking "next", completing and submitting this short survey, you are providing your informed consent for your participation in this survey and for the University of York to use anonymised data provided for our research purposes.
