Case competition
We are bringing back the case competition this year with an amendments. Rather than department focused we would like to see your great lab minds solve a technical lab related issue, the most innovative and practical solution will win! As with last year the beginning phase of our case competition will take place prior to the retreat (edited, contestants had time prior to retreat last year too). You will need to meet up with your group several days prior to the retreat to come up with a solution to this years case and create your presentation. On the second day of the retreat, teams will pitch their solutions (3-5 min) to the audience and a panel of judges consisting of both faculty and industry experts (presentation props are optional).

Winners will be awarded a substantial monetary prize. The audience will also vote for the team that receives the Audience's Choice award.

This is a great way to put those problem-solving research skills into good use and develop important professional skills!

Are you interested in joining the friendly case competition?
