Drupal Training - Class Registration
This hands-on computer training class will teach you all the basics of using the Drupal content management system (CMS) to manage and support websites at
WHO IS THIS CLASS FOR?
This class is intended primarily for faculty and staff who want to be more involved in the support of their departmental websites. Student workers can also attend but must be pre-approved. Students must include their supervisor's name in the additional notes/comments section below when registering.
WHAT IS THIS CLASS?
Drupal training is broken into two separate 2-hour sessions. There is a Fundamentals class which teaches you all basics, including: how the Drupal editor works and how to create and edit webpages. There is also an Advanced class which covers more complex topics including: building Drupal panes/modules and the modifying the page template itself. You are welcome (and encouraged) to sign up for both sessions.
WHERE IS THE CLASS HELD?
Drupal training is held in the McCabe Computer Lab, Room 306. Each class is 2 hours long. The class starts promptly at the designated start time. You are welcome to bring your own laptop, or you can use one of the Mac workstations already in the computer lab.
You MUST register for the class in order to attend. Space is limited to 15 seats. Your spot in class is only approved after you receive a confirmation email.
